Workshop “Artificial Intelligence and Media – The phenomenon of deepfakes”

The students of the 15th High School of Patras visited the facilities of the Ionian television station on February 14, 2025, as part of the joint action #EuropeNow, which is organized by Europe Direct in collaboration with Ionian.

During the workshop entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Media – The phenomenon of deepfakes”, students had the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of deepfakes technology, become familiar with the application of artificial intelligence in the media, learn about the impacts of the spread of fake news, and strengthen their ability to recognize fake content, while cultivating their critical thinking.
