The Europe Direct Information Center Patras – Region of Western Greece in collaboration with the Primary School of Rio and the Film Office of the Region of Western Greece participated in the video competition organized by the Interreg VA Greece-Italy Program and whose theme was to raise awareness among citizens about the benefits of participating in Europe and their engagement in the values of cooperation. Interreg programs celebrate the European Cooperation Day on September 21st of each year, through hundreds of events organized in more than 30 countries.
The first prize was won by the 40” video in which students of the Rio Primary School answer the question “why Europe is You” and talk about the advantages of territorial cooperation.
